    Default Exhilarating!!! - Week 1, Day 4 - Blog 12

I'm going to write a separate blog for how I'm feeling because I think that one could get long and involved. I did my Zumba later than expected today, had a fairly busy day and couldn't fit it in before we went out to dinner. I picked relatively healthy options at the restaurant, had my meal with a side of vegetables instead of chips or mashed potato and only had a sliver of my husband's Creme Caramel and ice cream for dessert.

My husband watched the first part of my workout tonight and he made endless fun of me while he was watching. His most accurate quote was "they make it look so easy and you make it look so hard!" lmao! I felt like I was better than my first attempt at Exhilarate, though. I definitely got the hang of some of the steps better than last time.

One thing I've learnt tonight, don't do Zumba barefoot! I realised about halfway through the warm up that I'd forgotten to put shoes on and that my feet were hurting but figured my shoes were hurting me so much the other day that I'd be better off without them. By 30 minutes in I discovered that wasn't the case and had to pause the workout to go get my shoes on. I can't wait for my Zumba shoes to arrive, I hope they fit and are comfy!

All in all though, I'm just pleased that I even did the workout because I definitely could've skipped it!

Yup, my feet were still hurting this morning! I'm definitely not going to do it barefoot again lol! I think it's the twisting that's the problem...plus I'm doing it on a rug that's on a tiled floor so not much padding!

I forgot today and did it barefoot on my plain concrete floor. It was ouchie to say the least. I hope your shoes come soon.
