    This. If you want it pronounced Lila, your best bet is to spell it that way.

    I would pronounce lailah as 'lay-la' and would also suggest the spelling lilah as the alternative.

    Lilah because it looks short for Delilah, but Lyla would be a fairly foolproof way of spelling it.

    Thanks for all your responses, I am definitely looking for the 'normal' way of spelling it and not looking to bas*ardise it or anything, just couldn't think of how to spell it!
    I love the Lilah spelling
