Default What couldn't you live without?

So bub is weeks away and I think we have everything. And I mean everything (some eBay/secondhand/etc)
I've bought pram/capsule travel system, fisher price swing and the obvious.
BUT... Was there something you got that was a 'luxury' item or deemed unnecessary but couldn't live without???

Yep carriers! I got a sling when DS was newborn, then moved onto the ergo and still use it with a 21 mo. I wasn't completely happy with the sling with DS so am going to invest in a hug-a-bub or similar wrap for #2.

In the early days our swing was a lifesaver. Was the only way we could all get some sleep!

My sling and also my Manduca carrier were also awesome and I'm glad I spent the money on them.

A baby carrier. I used mine all the time with both kids.

So funny. We were looking at baby carriers. My husband likes the baby born miracle carrier the best. There is a secondhand baby market on where I live tomorrow and we were hoping to bag a bargain on something.
    Please keep suggestions coming.

Please reconsider getting a baby bjorn - they get really uncomfortable for you when bub is a bit heavier and the position they put bub in (held from the crotch (sp?)) isn't great for baby.

    Baby swing and baby sling.
Both allowed me to get things done in the early days.
