Default TMI - tampon at 4 weeks post-birth?

I really, really wanna go swimming with my DS1 tomorrow. But I'm only 4 weeks post delivery and still having very light bleeding.

I know some sources say not to use tampons for 6 weeks after birth but surely an hour or two should be fine right?! I mean people have sex etc before the 6 week mark also and everyone seems to survive.

    Anyone back me up? Hahaha.

If it was me, I would. Especially considering you don't need it in long.

I say as long as your comfortable with it, you should be fine.

As long as it doesn't hurt and feel comfortable I would.
