Not a lot of movement on the scales but quite a bit on the tape measure, 6cms in fact, I'm okay with that and that, my friends, is why the scales are bollocks!

    Waist 99.5cm 85.5cm 14.0cm

Yeah, I'm pretty amazed by that! Only 5.5cms to go before I'm under the "healthy" waist measurement of 80cm for women! That's unbelievable!

So I'm pretty certain that I was bloated last week when I weighed in because by the next time I weighed in I had "lost" 1.3kgs and by today I'm down 2.2kgs since last week! More importantly is this...

Yes, folks, as of this morning's weigh-in I am officially "overweight"!!!!! That was my biggest goal for this challenge and I still can't believe that I've actually achieved it. I knew I would come close but when 29.90 came up on that screen, I almost died and yes, I did burst into tears because I couldn't believe how far I'd come!

Measurement Type Day 1 Week 8 Difference
    Weight 86.0kgs 77.5kgs 8.5kgs
    Waist 99.5cm 84.0cm 15.5cm
    Hips 112.0cm 102.0cm 10.0cm
    Chest 107.5cm 98.0cm 9.5cm
    Right Thigh 61.5cm 57.5cm 4.0cm
    Left Thigh 63.0cm 57.5cm 5.5cm
    Right Bicep 32.5cm 29.5cm 3.0cm
    Left Bicep 34.0cm 29.5cm 4.5cm
    Totals
    Centimetres lost 52.0cm
    Weight lost 8.5kg

For the people on phones, here's a version you can read easier:

    Measurement type - Day 1 - Week 8 - Difference
    Weight - 86.0kgs - 77.5kgs - 8.5kgs
    Waist - 99.5cms - 84.0cm - 15.5cm
    Hips - 112.0cm - 102.0cm - 10.0cm
    Chest - 107.5cm - 98.0cm - 9.5cm
    Right Thigh - 61.5cm - 57.5cm - 4.0cm
    Left Thigh - 63.0cm - 57.5cm - 5.5cm
    Right Bicep - 32.5cm - 29.5cm - 3.0cm
    Left Bicep - 34.0cm - 29.5cm - 4.5cm
    Totals
    52.0cm lost
    8.5kgs lost

Here are my before and after photos. I really, really, REALLY wish that I'd had the guts to take side and back photos at the beginning of this competition but I had absolutely zero faith in myself doing anything decent at the time! (Sad, but true!)

It's not showing correctly on the PC because it's too wide so here's link to the full week 8 comparison photo including week 4.
