Default Re: How do you think you come across to other people?

I suspect I don't come across all that well. I often catch myself mid conversation and think 'urgh, Shut up, they don't want to hear about you'.
I think I either talk to much, don't talk enough, say the wrong thing, don't sound like an adult, get hung up on things that others find boring...or find very tenuous links in conversation and go off on stupid tangents.

I think I probably come across as trying too hard, probably because I do.

I understand why some people hate me.

I'm really blunt and a lot of people don't 'get' my humour. So I know I often come across as rude or odd.

I get paranoid about coming across as a religious zealot... Really paranoid.

I'm so sleep deprived that I worry I come across as ditzy or all over the place, I struggle to hold a conversation without repeating things and it's all because of the lack of sleep.

Right now I'm loving all of you... For completely and utterly being yourselves... As quirky as we think we are, I'm starting to believe we are all the normal ones! X x

I honestly don't know what people think of me. And they probably don't know what to make of me. I would love to see the verdict if all my different groups of friends got together and summed me up. They all see different sides of me, the grump, the p!sshead, Ms Defensive, the joker, Ms D&M, the ditz that can't remember what we talked about yesterday. I reckon the verdict would be schizo!

    Depends who I'm with-
Family-I come across as knowledgeable, funny, bossy, organizer, dreamer, fun & intense.
Strangers-shy, quiet, non opinionated, public speaker, intense, crusader.
    DP-sexy apparently LOL!!!!

I think I come across as snobby and rude (but I'm not!) I'm just VERY shy and quite, when I don't know someone, I find it very hard to have a conversation
Also because iv had a lot of mean/ negative people on my life, I'm very cautious of who I become friends / interact with so that's probably also makes me seem stuck up

I gave up caring about other people's opinions of me several years ago cause I just couldn't win!!!!

I know I'm not an easily approachable person so people say I'm standoffish lol good for them. Unless I know you or I've had a couple of drinks I'm quiet shy but I do come out oF my shell eventually.

In the last ten years I've made one genuine new friend the lady that works in the servo and she's great we just make each other laugh and we suit each other down to the group. My circle of friends is small but I trust them with my life what others think doesn't faze me. My favorite topic of conversation is my babies and my close friends don't mind lol

Some days I look like a bag lady (my opinion lol) other days I make an effort - if people can't take me as they find me then I don't want to know

Add in a sarcastic sense of humor and this is me to a T!
