i went to go out the other day and DP says "you haven't done your hair that big in ages".... i went and flattened it a little ... but i usually have 1 side of my hair puled back and clipped up with the other side all teased out and big... i was going to shave one side off but chickened out. i like to try different styles
I've been told by a lot of my (now) friends that they were scared of me when they first met me. Apparently because I don't really say much and look grumpy. I'm actually just assessing the situation and I'm not good at meeting people, I never have anything worth saying.
And I think other times people probably think we have more money than we actually do, even our family! So probably fall into people thinking were CUB's.
People generally don't like me. I come across as rude, stuck up, a b!tch, etc.. I'm not really though. I just have massive social anxiety issues and am naturally a very quiet person.
I think i come across as a some sort of criminal as well. I can't go into shops without being stalked around the store or asked to empty out my bag.
People always seems to think i'm 5-10 years younger then what i am. I had DS1 when i was 19 and he is almost 8 so i get people trying to do the math or asking me outright how old i am.
I think overall people just think poorly of me.
I have a Pandora bracelet, coffee table, down lights, and my children can often be caught in Pumpkin Patch clothing, so I assume I come across as a bogan.
Oh but I don't have a Strider, I have Bugaboos, as well as an excessively expensive watch and I love Jigsaw dresses so that must make me a pretentious snob.
Then again I usually have 13 month DD in the Ergo, rarely straighten my hair and often favour handmade goods, so I must be a crunchy mummy.
Oh I give up.
I always come across differently to people when I first meet them. I know this because they tell me about it later once we have gotten to know each other better
Apparently I come across as a snob...which i'm not.
We probably come across as poor but we arent at all, just not materialistic (esp with baby goods). I have been told that im the type of person you either love or hate, which is fine as I probably either love or hate you too

I come across as someone who is insanely finicky about spelling and grammar, hideously skeptical about everything, and weirdly obsessed with costume parties and wine.
I just don't know how everyone gets it so wrong...
