    Default can someone answer this pregnancy question.. i have no idea. :)

    I had my ob appt today and he said baby is 2/5th's engaged.. what does this mean exactly? i should have asked. duh.

    It means she is half engaged
    Or half way into being engaged at least that is my understanding of it, how deep into your pelvis she is.
    ETA DS was 4/5ths and he was too far out of my pelvis for a sweep

    I think it relates to how much of the head they can palpate

    It's how far down the head is, they divide it into fifths and the head is 2 fifths down...5/5 is all the way down!

    Other way round, I'm pretty sure. 0/5 is fully engaged.

    From what my OB explained was that your babies head is 2/5 engaged - so their head is down to about their temples.
