Default TMI and a dumb labour question -

This is a really dumb question:
Why would orgasms bring on labour? How many in a day would you have to have to bring on labour? Is it the actual orgasm that gets contractions going or is it the penis softening the cervix or something to do with whats in sperm?
Do you always need the penis to try and bring on labour IYKWIM??

It's a combination of penetration, the sperm to ripen the cervix and the 0rgasm which can bring on contractions.
The further along you get the more you notice strong BH after 0rgasming.

You can make yourself O and use EPO vaginally instead of having $ex if you like.

Not sure how many you would need but in another 2 weeks we'll be aiming for 3 a day (through $ex and foreplay) to help encourage spontaneous labour and hopefully a successful VBAC.

Orgasms trigger the release of Oxytocin, which is the same hormone release that happens during labour. When you are induced, they often use Syntocinon which is a synthetic hormone made to replicate Oxytocin
