If I'm this sore after one day of doing the very basic DVD, how on Earth am I going to get through another 9 days before resting? Ack! I'm still committed to doing the 10 days, though.
So here's a thing you don't know about me, I suffer from Rosacea. It's like acne but in my opinion (probably because I hate it so much), worse. I get papules which are angry, red bumps. Unlike pimples, they don't get a "head", you can't pop them and they take months to go away. Yes, months. When they finally leave you'll get one somewhere else instead! My skin is so dry and nope, I can't just use normal facial cleansers because anything harsher than stuff like Dove soap makes it worse!
Why am I telling you about this? Because my Rosacea flares up when I'm overweight. Probably because I'm eating crappy carbs, etc. in fact if you Google "Rosacea diet" a good diet for Rosacea is pretty much low carbs, high protein, eat healthy, drink lots of water.
I've said so many times that I could deal with being fat if I didn't feel like I was ugly as well. I hear all the time about bigger girls who say "I only like photos from the neck up" but I don't even get that option because whenever I look at a photo of myself my skin looks horrible.
I hate when people give girls "ratings" out of 10. Not because it's sexist, which it is, but because if I was to honestly give myself a rating out of 10 it would be a 2...maybe a 3 if I was wearing a whole tonne of make up.
I will reassess that figure at the end of this competition. Is it sad that I would be happy if I looked in the mirror and said to myself "hey baby, you're totally a 5 out of 10!"?
