Default Hernia on DP and him being stubborn

Ok it's probably an inguinal hernia. If he's in agony it could be strangulated. He needs to get it looked at.

    Silly stubborn males!

No don't call an ambulance just because he's refusing to go to hospital! What a waste of ambos time when they could be seeing people with heart attacks etc.

Keep at him op, if it helps tell him I'm a doc and I say he needs to go... Lol

    Did he end up going??

It's really important that he goes because if his bowel gets stuck it can become incarcerated and if that happens he could end up with a colostomy bag for the rest of his life. If that information doesn't get him to the hospital then there's something wrong have a bag for the rest of your life would be horrible

I had a herina that involved bowel. It is super important he gets to the hospital his LIFE is at stake and his bowel. Ask if he wants to poo into a bag for the rest of life, if not get sorry butt to hospital.

It is serous. I had to be operated on while I was pregnant and it wasn't safe for bub. the dr simple said you have the op and you survive and bub has a chance of surviving or you both die, your choice.

Just on this - an ultra sound revealed my DS didnt have an inguinal hernia. HA! Surgeon said it was one of the biggest he has repaired! Don't just take the ultra sound as gospel, they can get it wrong. DS was eventually diagnosed on my word and photos (yes I know that sounds weird but as huge as it was, it was apparently shy around Doctors lol).

I hope your DH feels better soon! And definitely if there is any doubled over cant breathe pain or discolouration straight to the ED.
