Default So much spewing ds already on losec

Ds is nearly 7 months and has been on losec since about 12weeks. He spews after every feed..even an hour after a feed u pick him up and spew. Anytime i hold him i pretty much worry im gonna get spewed on he is just always doing it.

Is this normal? It seems so odd my neice wasn't like this. I know losec doesn't stop the spew just the pain.

Im going to take him to doc in a few weeks but until then does anyone know? Had same thing? What was it?

DD was the same, spewing constantly... I learnt to keep a spare change of clothes in the car! Once she was off the losec she spewed a little less, and then slowly over a few months it became less and less. She still spews a few times a day but its nothing like she used to.
As his systems mature he should spew a little less, but its different for every baby. We were relatively lucky and DDs reflux was pretty much gone by 6mo but we have the occasional episode that I think could be reflux.

Yep that was my DD2 she would vomit right up until her next feed. Was put on thickener and rice cereal but nothing helped. She vomited after every feed until about 11 months then it was just an occasional vomit each day. She is now 2 and doesn't vomit much but still does a lot more then her sister and not gastro just obviously has a weaker flap in her throat. Sorry not much help but it does eventually get better i found once DD was walking it really helped because she wasn't laying or crawling with her head down

Thanks good to know its kind of normal then just annoying when u get spewed on all day. The floor has spew spots on it i have to mop every few days. Its ok when ot doesn't smell too bad but when he chucks a while after s feel and it gets the more vomit smell thats even worse. Poor boy but Yeh solids and thickener didn't help us either just have to wait i suppose..
