    Default Family supplement payment??

Hi all (omg thank the lord the bh app is back up and running!!)

Anyhoo, just a quick question, is centerlink still doing the family supplement payments: ie, the $600ish per child after tax time that gets paid with your families payments? We did our tax around the start of Sept and I haven't heard anything from centerlink about it at all.

    Best you call them up.
They have still a huge back log, apparently.

Honestly I dont think they even know what they are doing.

Im still waiting for mine, though my situation is different, I was partnered during the financial yr, and then separated.

Im still told different things even up until this morning.

And I cal lthem every 2 weeks...

2 days ago I was told, by a staff member who assured me, she has worked their for 8 yrs and she can confirm, my forced reconcilliation will be going through for my supps betwene 5ht Nov to 15th Nov.

today I logged into centrlink too see on site it is going on about, if you dont need to lodge a tax return contact centrelink..... they have been notified months ago, numerous times.

So I call them up, I get the norm rep, then got transfered to a manager, and she explains, I dont need too refill the online app or notify them, as they can see I dont need to lodge a tax return and have all that info, but they cannot pay me supps until ex lodges his tax return, which he still has not done, and not in my control, to do anything about it.

So I mention to her my previous conversation of 2 days ago with another rep, and she says I was given wrong info, that they cannot do my supps until ex lodges, and if he does not lodge then they cannot do the supps until after 12 months has lapsed.

    So, who knows.....

Hi, DH did his tax in July and we still hadnt gotten the payment by September so I went into CL with DHs Tax assessment the ATO sent him and CL entered it straight into their system and I had the supps within a week. CL said that the ATO hadnt even sent through DHs Tax assessment so sometimes the entire process is really slow. So try going in there so you can see somebody directly, good luck

    Hi girls,

Yeah I called them yesterday, apparently there's a glitch on my file that refused to register I had done the healthy start for school check for Ds2 in back in march so it was withholding my supp. They've had to escalate it up the ladder to have it overridden and should see the money Tuesday-ish

Thank god, that money usually covers Christmas and rego for us, I was starting to worry!
