Default So if you are heading off for a weekend away (sans Dh and kids) do you....

Before i was induced with dd1 and the day of my waters breaking with dd2 I did a few things as my ILs were due to arrive and DH would be alone.

    Cleaned out and restocked Fridge.
Cleaned out and stocked pantry with everyones fav foods.
    Changed all bedlinen and towels.
    Tidied and vacuumed.

I already had food in freezer and baked a couple batches of bikkies.

All in hope of bringing on labour but also cos I knew I would be away for 4-5 days.

I'm getting weekend away soon too. I'll do the grocery shopping and give the house a clean the day before ... I know I'll come back to a clean house (he's anal about a tidy home ) ... but he can cook up meals.

I'm leaving Saturday for a 7 day cruise. The washing is up to date and the kitchen will be tidy. Dh and Miss 3 will go shopping for food each day for dinner that night while Mr 13 and Mr 7 are at school. I will miss them but I need to have a break for my sanity. DH is going to deal with my parents for the week (Dad has an ABI and Mum is just a handful)
