    Default Which would you choose?

    Hi

I am planning to apply to study at TAFE next year. The course I want is offered either part time day (1 day a week for a year) or full time (3 days a week for 18 weeks) Originally I was planning to do the 1 day a week as that is all my 2 year old is in daycare for. But now thinking about it maybe the 3 days a week is better? If I do it over 1 year that means if I am to fall pregnant in that time it will be harder to finish the course. 18 weeks would be good to get it over and done with but my DD is pretty clingy and even though she loves her 1 day a week at daycare I don't know how she (or I!) would handle 3 days a week of being seperated. Which would you choose?

Personally I would choose to do it full-time. Gets it out of the way quicker But really, it's up to you to decide what is best for your child. How long until you need to decide? Would it be an option to trial your child in daycare for 3 days a week for a few weeks before you are due to start? That way you can gauge whether both you and her would handle the 3 days, and if you feel that it is too much you could easily go back to just one day of care, and opt to study part-time instead.
