Default Good news for PCOS sufferers!!! Dont give up hope :)

    Hi ladies,

I found out i had PCOS about 3 years ago and have been ttc for 4 years, my periods where all over the shop sometimes not showing up for over a year! Iv been on Clomid numerous times with no luck, we decided to stop trying so to speak then about 3 months ago chose to see another specialist who put me on 1500mg of metformin. Sad to say but i never held THAT much hope for it to work, and we started looking into IVF... BUT! about 2 weeks ago i started getting really bad cramps and not feeling 100% my breasts were very tender as well, i rang my specialist and he told me to take a home pregnancy test so i did...And it came up !!!!!!!! I could not believe my eyes! The following day i went and got a blood test and it confirmed that i am infact pregnant!! Its still early days but i am so happy to say i am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant

Sorry for such a long message but i just want to let other PCOS sufferers know that there is still hope out there and to never give up trying! I honest to god thought i would never fall

    Congratulations

I could have written your post almost word for word. I even have the same timing. I am still slightly in shock we've done it ... even after seeing the U/S today. I don't think I'll fully believe it until I am holding my LO next June.

Let's hope both our bubs stick strong.
