Wink Why I need a ZUMBA party!

Weighing in at a wobbly 102kg!

Unfortunately I gained this weight prior to having my DS now 11 months.

So if not pregnancy, how did I get to this point?

    Backpacking in the UK......

Yes, I embraced the binge drinking, carb eating and no exercise ways of the backpacker while living in Scotland.

I started travelling in 2002 and met my DH, got married and stayed there.

Now 10 years later we have reloacted to Melbourne, and have our darling son in our lives. Unfortunately we have both gained a lot more than just him.

    I have gained a whopping 37kg!!!!

Enough is enough! I need this weight off before TTC#2

I figure the fact that this comp requires me to keep a diary that is available for all to see it will keep me dedicated to the cause.

I need to lose the weight, but it is much more than that!

I want to get the fun, laughter and pizzazz back in my life.

So what I need from all you Bubhubbers out there is encouragement and maybe even a kick in the pants if you think I could work harder!

That reminds me, I can't be 100% certain but I'm almost sure yours was my favourite entry for the competition! You did the funny poem, yes? It made me laugh so hard I kept going back to read it again and again.

Thought I'd put my starting measurements and goals in here!

    Taken on 24/10/2012

    Weight 102kg
    Waist 110cm
    Bust 121cm
    Hips 128cm
    Thigh 77.5cm
    Arm 36cm

    How I look....eek!

Please note I would never normally allow anyone but DH to see me in this hideous way!!! 😳

Now for goals.....I struggle to set realistic goals to time frames when it comes to weight loss so please interject with more sound judgement!

My ultimate goal is 78kg which is a 24kg loss.

I am thinking 10kg in the first 8 weeks will be my goal for this challenge, aiming to reach 92kg by the end of this challenge....

Realistic or should I go for more?
