    Default Hands and knees?

DS is just under 6 months old. He can roll really well all ways and pivots on his tummy. Is the next step getting on hands and knees?
How old was your baby when they did this? Did you do anything to help them? When on hands and knees, how long did it take to work crawling out?Tia

DD was on hands and knees at about 5mths. The day she turned 6mths she sat up, the next day she started crawling. DS did everything about 2 weeks later.

    hi,

DD was rolling really early - probably about 4 months to her tummy, then at nearly 5 months was rolling both ways.

About 3 or so weeks ago she started pivoting around in circles and rolling to her back and tummy to get around. Then she started getting on her hands and knees probably a week later (so about 2 weeks ago), then yesterday she started commando crawling.

She looks close to crawling properly, but I'd say it would be another few weeks before she properly crawls.

She can sit up on her own but only for about 30 seconds to a minute before falling backwards or forwards.

    Default Re: Hands and knees?

DD was up on hands and knees for about 2wks before she started crawling just shy of 6mths. She would rock away & it then seemed like something just 'clicked' after the couple of weeks and she was off

    She's 7mths now & I can't turn my back for 30secs
