    I love the dark chocolate idea but I suspect carrying around a whole block of it is an incredibly bad idea, Nomsie!

    So, I am sitting here eating my porridge (read- gruel- any ideas on spicing it up? Atm I am doing 1 tsp of honey and a pinch of mixed spice) and thought I would share my little bit of excitement with anyone who is reading-

    I've bee doing this really only properly since Tues morning. Last night I was laying on my back in bed and rested my hands on my tummy. 'Strange' I thought. 'Usually it's a bit more pillowly than that'

    Put my jeans on this morning, and they're more saggy around my hips than usual. (Finding pants to fit me is a nightmare- here the no bum issue comes into play.)

    So after my shower, just because I could, I tentatively stepped onto the scales.

    Just under 2kg gone since Tuesday! Of course I know it could just be a flux- fluid/ normal body changes etc... but I RARELY see the scales numbers go down. (It's why I usually just pretend I can't see the damn scales, taunting me next to the shower!)

    It's refreshed my energy, knowing that I can feel the change before I can see it- it's what I want to happen. I've never crash dieted because I knew I wouldn't FEEL as good... ZUMBA MAKES ME FEEL GOOD!!

    Can I shout it from the rooftops?

    Of course you've sworn of alcohol for a little while too haven't you to keep on track.

    Wow 2kg well done!

    Re the porridge - google the gracious pantry oatmeal project. She came up with 365 different ways of eating porridge and it's all clean eating. I liked the banana bread one...
