Sex worked for DS2 DTD Friday night and he arrived the next morning! He had been stuffing me around with false starts all week and I was exhausted! I was 38 weeks.

DS1 he came at 37 weeks, but I gave him a pep talk the night before he was born after seeing the temps were hitting 45 degrees the next day and we didnt have air con

Ok, apologies if this is too much information... but leading up to due date, we had sex every night, and I would always make sure I O'd (even if that meant having to use some extra help IYKWIM) and would sleep with it still in there. Sorry too much I know, but I knew it helped to soften the cervix.

2 days after my due date I was checked by Ob, and cervix was fully softened and I was already 3cm dilated. I went home and started pumping colostrum with my double electric breast pump. Contractions started within minutes, and Mikayla was born 4 hours later, completely drug and complication free

However I did find my prelabour would start anytime I washed my hair ( after waiting and holding out because I was having a waterbirth)

How odd.. wonder why it started when you washed your hair?

Sex every day and like a PP would make sure I finished somehow! At least once a day the last week and on my due date we DTD (I O'd) and I saw to myself another two times in about a 3/4 hour period in the arvo/evening. I went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 11 in labour

Dd1 was induced so obviously nothing worked.

Dd2 - thought that she would be late like elder sister so I organized lots of appts for me. and missed ALL of them.

I rubbed clary sage oil in a carrier oil over my tummy for two evenings in a row. DD was born on the 3rd day at 41 weeks. Though I had been dilating naturally since 39 weeks so it may have been a coincidence.
