    Default Looking for reassurance!

    Hi all,
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
My AF was due Wed or Thurs last week. It did not show, so Saturday morning, I did a HPT - got a BFP!
Went out for a little while, did the groceries etc and got another test - just to be sure. Sure enough, another BFP.
    Today I am 4w6d.
I have booked in to see my GP on Friday after work.
The last few days though, I have had cramps. Lower abdomen cramps. Feels like period cramps & I'm now worried that AF will turn up and I won't be preg at all!
2 HPT can't be wrong though can they?
I can't wait for my doc appt on Friday now - I just want to know it's real!
I have read that cramping is normal and it's the uterus stretching etc, but this feels very much like period cramping & it's just got me a little worried.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you

you can't get a false positive - the cramping is normal - I'm 23 weeks I still get the same period cramping as if my period is coming, it's a bit un-nevering. fx baby is sticky and they're just causing you unnecessary stress. x

Thank you so much. I didn't think you could get a false positive, especially two, but until I hear it from a doctor, it's hard to really believe! (if you know what I mean!)
