Default My tests are lying....i think

    Hi Ladies

    Ok here's the story.
My AF was due nearly 2 weeks ago. Last week I was testing and got negatives (1,2,3 days after AF was due)
1 week later I got a postive OPK and O pains so I was certain I must of not O around normal time and I am now. We DTD
Today at 8dpo I got a BFP! The clear blue digi says im 3+ weeks????? That means I missed my period cause I was pregnant. But it also means 5 days after AF was due I was still getting negatives. I really do believe I conceived 8 days ag0

In my experience the digital tests are never wrong! Can you get a blood test to see what your hcg levels are? Oh and congratulations!!

Can't opk's be used as pregnancy tests? Is there a chance the pains you felt were implantation pains and maybe you're 5 weeks. Congratulations either way

Yep, opk's will definitely show up hcg. I think they generally pick up higher levels of hormone (mine are 25), where as most early pregnancy tests pick up levels as low as 10. So you would probably get the bfp from a pregnancy test before you would get one from an opk.

I've used many an opk as a hpt

    Congratulations

For what it's worth, I think there are plenty of people who have had negatives at that point and still had healthy pregnancies...
