Default Getting bub to sleep with a noisy toddler

So my 6 week old has pretty much been having all his day sleeps in his swing since a couple of weeks old. Every time I pat him to sleep in his cot or on me I never have enough time to sit there with him through until he's in a deep sleep (if i stop patting before then he will just wake up) My two year old will yell and want me to get him something and it wakes the baby up. I end up just putting bub in the swing so I can deal with the 2 yo.

I don't want bub to get used to only sleeping in the swing. I feel like I'm setting my self up for issues when he is too big for it and i have to find another way to get him to sleep.

How do u deal with getting bub to sleep with a noisy, demanding toddler?

With ds2 I rocked him to sleep (he's 18mths now and I still do with day sleeps.) Ds1 was noisy and always asked for Mum's help but early on I started putting music on and encourage DS1 to dance. He would dance away and I appeared to be involved with his dancing by being right there with him as I rocked the little one. The only problem is that baby's get bigger and heavier! I am interested with what people come up with. My toddler's attention span was not long enough to invlove him in an activity which didn't require mum's help so I could properly settle a baby in cot in this household!
