Ds hair is getting long around the ears and all odd length so thinkin he needs a trim but i don't want him to lose his baby look! He is nearly 7months..

DS was a bit over 12 months. DD is 12 months and being a girl I won't be touching hers for a long time, she'll have long hair.

Default When did your baby have first haircut

DS had his first a week before his first birthday and only because he went under a table and some how got gum stuck in the back of his hair "yuck" so we had to shave the gum out and then got him a proper hair cut so it didn't look ridiculous, he has had 1 haircut since just to trim the odd ends and shaggy bits around his ears (he is 18months now) and will need another one shortly just a trim at the back and around the ears it always seems to grow longest there lol the top is getting a lot thicker and longer but doesn't quite need to be done yet.

We shaved dd head shortly after her first birthday. It was all different lengths and wispy and just generally yuck. 3 months later its growing back thick and the same length all over. She looked pretty odd as a baldy but it was worth it.

Ds1 was 11 months. He got it cut because he had a bald patch at the back. Dd is 4 and had her first cut a few months ago - a fringe and trim.
Ds2 is 22 months and still hasn't had a cut yet. It's thick and curly but it still looks neat so I don't see the need to do it yet.

Didn't touch my girls hair for years and years.
DS had his first haircut just before his 2nd birthday. It didn't need to be done but thought it was time to neaten it up so had it shortened on the sides into a Mohawk with a little curly rats tail. He is one very cute bogan!!

I think DD was about 2 when she got her first cut. I take her now about every 8 weeks for a trim and it's still super long.

I've cut some unidentified chunks of something out of DD's hair, and she's 2-1/2. I can't see a haircut on her horizon any time soon, haha. DS has more hair at 6mo than she did at 1 year. He'll probably end up at the barbers first
