In terms of obgyn I too am no help but the treatment so far throughout this pregnancy with Lyell Mac has been absolutely fabulous and I couldn't rate them highly enough!

Is there a reason you want to have a obgyn? With my pregnancies I did not see one doctor the whole pregnancy! Unless you know you are high risk there is not really any need for a obs.

If you want to go private you do need to choose an ob. I think pp are more refering to the public system where in a run of the mill pregnancy you see just midwives.

Default Hospitals and OBGYN in Adelaide?

We went to Calvary. I can't recommend it enough to my friends. The staff were amazing & my OBGYN was dr Hillen he was/is amazing & his rooms are on site which is handy! I will def be going back to him next time & the hospital! Good luck in your pg & finding an OBGYN! 😄

Yep I chose public because I don't need or want an obstetrician. I'm low risk and that's why I don't need one. Midwives do most of the work in the labour anyway.

I think she must have seen prof Svigos. Lol. He was my ob and is awesome but he won't deliver at nth eastern or Lyell Mac.

Op, I highly recommend dr Beth Russ. Her rooms are at the top of magill rd and she delivers at nth eastern. I know her personally and she is the most lovely person, very pro natural too.

You can go private at Lyell Mac but I would prefer to go to a private hospital. Private in a public hospital is a waste of time IMO. Yes you choose your ob but you don't get a nice private room or any of the other benefits of a private hospital. I had my twins privately at the wch and I hated it.
