Ah, that's interesting to know. I was checking out a Babylove one in Kmart the other day. There's so much homework to do with these things - but it's worth it

Default Safe N Sound Meridian Tilt & Adjust

I'm resurrecting this thread, as I too am trying to decide if $430 is worth it for the Meridian AHR Tilt & Adjust.

Safety is the most important thing to me, but not sure if I should only go by the CREP ratings? If so then I'll happily pay the money, but if there are other 'just as good' seats that have been proven in ratings for much less, then I'm interested!

Just make sure when you look at crep ratings that you look at the detailed ratings, not just the basic ones.

We have it and love it. DS is 13 months old and still rear facing very comfortably. For me the price never came into it, I just wanted him in the safest seat I could get.

I posted in here when bubs was only a few weeks old, car journeys were hell he was always crying so I moved some of the padding, tilted an adjusted it <img src="images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" smilieid="92" class="inlineimg" and bubs has been happily along for the ride ever since! It's a great seat an well worth the money I just didn't know how to use it to suit my bub at first!
