Hi ladies, just stopping in to say hi I'm enjoying my break month so far & so is hubby lol. He was telling me last night that he looked into getting another SA done & his doc said just to abstain for 4-5 days, come in to grab the referral & he can do it the same day. He asked me when would be a good time to start abstaining & was surprised when I said any time is good because I refuse to be stressing out about timing at the moment - having that SA done to see if we've got better numbers now is worth so much more to me that trying to dtd with perfect timing!

Hello ladies. I hope it's ok to join this. Believe it or not I have spent the last hour or so reading the whole thread! I'm new to BH and am 27, DH is 30. Reading this almost had me in tears of relief that there are people to hopefully talk to and feel not so crazy with! Have been finding myself get a little obsessed so have put away the books and stopped using the May be baby as it just makes me miserable with a daily nothing. I'm CD20 and no signs of Ov. I have PCOS and DH has just had a sperm test so hopefully all is ok. Have been seeing a FS, Lynn actually too and find her fab. Will start Clomid in May if nothing happens by then.
Congratulations to all the BFP's!! I am going to start temping as this seems to be a good way to track Ov so fingers crossed! Hope all is well xoxo

    Hi Rebecca & welcome
Why has the FS got you waiting until May to start clomid? Do you have natural cycles?

    Hi Yolanda
She wanted to see if I have natural cycles first as its been so long since I've been off the pill that we don't know what they're like any more. Last time I was off they were anywhere between 17 and 49 days! So far, it's history repeating and currently on cd21 and no Ov so not even sure if it will happen this month. FS said shed rather see than straight on meds as the Clomid could mean twins and there are always increased risks with multiples and she wanted to also see if there were any issues with DH in case she starts treating the wrong issue. If cycles continue without Ov then Clomid it is!

I've read the Billings Method book to learn about CM as my cycles are so unpredictable, learning about Ov symptoms is all I've got! So far i see nothing. I have been having constant dull period pain which swaps from side to side which confused the hell out of me and I have seen no cm changes. Opks and may be baby continue to show nothing so am a tad down in the dumps! Boobs are sore this morning though so may be a sign of AF, but not a usual symptom for me so still a ray of hope it could be Ov!
    How are you going?

Ahh fair enough Rebecca it's better to get your own cycle if possible.
I have been prescribed provera for 7 days just waiting for script in post then it's onto 100mg of clomid.
Was told if this doesn't work it's 150mg then a review.

    Fingers crossed it works!

Good luck with the provera. I still don't think I've od but had some pain on left side yesterday so who knows. Hubby is enjoying the extra bding lol so someone's happy! I hope all goes well with the Clomid. I'm starting to temp everyday now. Do you really need a different thermometer? I read that somewhere but just have a regular one???
Do you have any Ov signs at all? I'm struggling to read them if I am lol!

I got a basal thermometer off eBay for a few dollars. Apparently the ones with two decimal places is what you need - you need to see 3 days higher jan the last 6 after a dip from what I have read. I haven't ovulated yet so not too sure what signs I will get
I'm just waiting for the EWCM. I have a maybe baby but it doesn't really work for me before I found out I had PCOS every day I was ferning haha DH thought he was in heaven with all the BDing!
Hopefully the provera brings on a bleed so I can start the 100mg as if it doesn't bleed than in have to go on the pill to get one and I don't want to wait another 30 days!
