What do you think to your i30 munchkin? I've been reading lots of reviews & they appear to have impressive fuel economy - which is good when I have to travel an hour in peak traffic to get to work!

Channy - just be careful with the aspirin, it can sometimes make your body's ph levels too acidic - eat plenty of green leafy vegies like spinach to counteract it. Haven't heard about the walnut - but if it helps that little eggy implant then awesome

Well if you ask me about my i30 I have nothing but bad things to say... The loan i30 car though, we'll both of them, have he great!!

There was a noise coming from under the bonnet so I sent it back, they didn't fix it the first time, the second time they thought they fixed it but it come back and the third time, well it seems ok now... It's had a new transmission and a new gear box or something put in it...and it was a completely new car when I bought it... For the first 3 months of me owning it, it was in hyundai's service department for a month in total. I don't have any other complaints apart from not being able to transfer iPhone contacts to the Bluetooth memory...you have to put them in manually...

Might just have been my bad luck as I've not heard anyone else have these problems...

And I'm taking aspirin too, on advice from my Ob. I didn't have clotting but he said that because we don't have any answers as to why we lost Skye that 100mg a day can't hurt...if something was to clog in the placenta or cord that at least the aspirin will help prevent that... When you say it makes ph levels more acidic, what implications might that mean???

Good to know about the i30 munchkin, sounds like you ended up with a dud one

Everyone reacts differently to aspirin, but you just need to remember that your body is very finely tuned in regards to ph levels - even a small dose taken regularly can alter it and cause you problems. Mostly it's to do with your digestive system - kidneys in particular can have a lot of trouble processing aspirin. You also have to be very sure that your blood doesn't have any trouble clotting normally.

I have to be very careful with any medications containing aspirin as I have small kidneys for one, but also with slightly low blood pressure, thinning the blood isn't a good idea - it could make my heart have to work too hard (beating faster) to try to maintain the appropriate pressure. Too much aspirin can also cause you to breathe faster, which can trigger an asthma attack if you're prone.

If you're concerned about any side effects, have a chat with your doctor or pharmacist before you start taking it. Remember healthy babies need healthy mummas!

Hope you're all having a good start to your week xo

Good to hear Channy Most people don't have any issues at all with aspirin, I just know that when we're trying our hardest to get that sticky BFP happening, we're willing to try practically anything! I just think it's a good idea to make sure anything you're wanting to give a go is suitable for your situation - I've seen far too many friends try crazy things because someone else said it worked for them, without doing any research.

Found this awesome website called countdowntopregnancy.com that had this great testing calculator that shows when you should test and gives you little notes about each dpo

Yup that's a great one - helps me to stop from testing too early when you have a look at the actual % of negative tests at whatever dpo from women who turned out to be pregnant
