Default 27 year olds trying for bub no.1 hi!! :)

Have fun to all of you having a lovely weekend! I'm pretty new here, so I thought I'd jump in. I'm 27 (as of one week ago), married to my hubby for a little over 1 year but together for 7.5. We've been TTC for 3 months, after being on the pill for 10 years.

My cycle has been like clockwork since coming off the pill in June except for this last cycle, 3 days late now! I've posted about this in a couple of other threads already so I won't give the details but had a very odd BFP this morning, will be confirming tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed!

I've been lurking for quite a while now so I thought it was about time I actually contributed to some threads, looking forward to getting to know everyone! Good luck to all of you!

    Great thread Channyv!

Thanks ladies for your kind support.

ChannyV yay the wkend is here!!! I wish I was going to QLD this wkend I am Vic and it looks like a rainy day - might drive to Melbs to do some shopping.

ChannyV I don't think your DH would of been to upset with your request lol!

Hi Dub congrats on your BFP do you know what your due date is? Fingers crossed you get a dark line this morning.

When we were ttc my months were like...waste of days that are just taking up time, to ovulating yay DTD, to waste of days that are a drag, to AF is due in a couple of days might start testing on & on. It's so painful having to wait! I hope you all start getting BFP soon I am sending sticky vibes. I also remember reading somewhere (TMI warning) that after DTD while your still lying down put your legs up in the air & pretend that your ridding a bike this supposed to help the little swimmers lol! I have to admit I have done it a few times!

    Welcome dub! That sounds promising

Eureka that's hilarious, I haven't done any of the legs in the air things yet, I think DH might think I have gone completely insane if I do (he is one if these "just have sex and it'll happen type ppl)

Eureka I must admit to doing the whole 'lie down with your legs up' thing for 30 mins after DTD! Haven't tried the bicycle thing thoughn Anything to give the swimmers a bit of a help along, right!

Thanks Channyv, I'm coming across you on a few threads now so getting to know everyone slowly.

Got a very very faint positive this morning on FMU within the time limit but I'm now convinced its an evap after my glaring negative yesterday afternoon. We'll see how it goes over the next few days. If I am, I will be due in mid July - around hubby's birthday!

    I hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Thought I'd share another of my hubby's funny responses (u can tell he takes this all very seriously), I was telling him about how if u DTD every second day it gives the sperm time to regenerate, he says "don't worry huni, we can do it every day, I've got super sperm, they wear little vests with an S on them" lol

Quick question can any one tell me what heart burn feels like! I had this terrible pain after eating tea it was in-between my ribs ( where my bra sits between bbs) has stopped now but I have never experienced any thing like it. Hubby suggested heartburn but not sure?
