Bubbles I'm so sorry. We will be heading down that path late Feb.
At least you're on to the next option and will hopefully have more luck. Keep your chin up x

Feeling a little better about things today - temp finally jumped, not hugely, but much more significantly than yesterday morning's rise - FF should pinpoint O day in the next day or so!

I also had a good chat with hubby last night regarding my disappointment over not being pregnant yet and fears about potentially starting down the testing and assistance route next year.

He was very good and understands now that sometimes he has to initiate a conversation about TTC, because it's very difficult for me to speak about it sometimes. I tend to be very focused about various things and over analyse - so I don't want him thinking all I want from him is his swimmers!

We took a break last night, but the previous couple of nights dtd I actually felt somewhat guilty about - I didn't really feel in the mood and I know DH wasn't either, but knew I it was important timing, so we did. It's something I never thought I would find myself doing. He had to deal with all that stuff with his ex-wife (who had major fertility issues), so he was very reassuring that he's happy to do whatever is necessary for us to have a baby, even if he's not feeling particularly amourous around that time.

He actually realised his attitude of "I'm happy either way if we have kids or we don't, as long as I'm with you" isn't particularly helpful, and he admitted he would be disappointed if we don't. He just didn't want me to feel that there was pressure on me to fall pregnant. Definitely a worthwhile conversation

Sorry to hear that bubbles... seeing AF show up is never fun I hope your appointment goes well.

Arlais, I am glad the convo went well for you.. it is so important to talk about it and so hard for us to relay everything we feel isn't it, I think my DH has learnt more about the female reproductive system in the last month than he has in his 28yrs of life!! I did the same thing on Monday night with DH as I was having a very down day, he is so supportive - I am lucky.

More waiting though.... DH had a SA on Thursday last week but has to have it repeated as "abnormalities" came back but no cause for alarm as they happen very often especially if he has been sick and last Tuesday he broke a fever at midnight and hasn't been that well since so he has to have another test, very frustrating as it takes forever to get into the clinic then another week to get results. Oh well.

1 more day of work.. can't wait!

I have just been to the dr as I have a cold got sent home today from work. Told her still no period after 4.5 months so she has given me some blood tests and a pelvic ultrasound to check for PCOS I'm going on Saturday. Fingers crossed its not but I just want any reason why I'm not getting my period.

Sorry Channy I've never taken it so I'm not sure - we're about the same point in our cycles though. Are you still taking a break or do you have a testing date planned?

Let me know how you go at Fertility North, Bubbles, we're going to be looking at seeing a FS in the new year and I was considering getting referred there as we're building in Alkimos.
