Default Re: 27 year olds trying for bub no.1 hi!! :)

So where is everyone else at cycle wise this weekend?

I'm currently 4 dpo, hoping to get a positive test at 12 dpo for hubby's 40th b'day - and know for sure to skip a few drinks at the party! No symptoms at the moment, but definitely on the lookout for any possible implantation signs over the next few days, temping well above coverline atm. I'm just hoping 12 dpo is enough to give me at least a faint positive...

Bbt: download the fertility friend app it's amazing! Take ur temp when u wake up in the morning before you get out of bed and after 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep and record on the app. The day you ovulate your temp will dip and rise quite a lot the following day, your temps will then stay elevated until AF arrives when it will drop quite a lot. Hp this helps xx

This is only my 2nd cycle temping, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. You just have to make it part of your routine - as soon as my alarm goes off I take my temp whilst still in bed.

As Channy said - definitely get the Fertility Friend app! If you go on their website you can do a free "charting course" which explains everything. I've actually referred to it several times since starting as they have a charts gallery so you can see others variations - you can even search by keywords if you want to look at specific charting scenarios.

I would also heartily recommend getting yourself some opk's. Temping will confirm that you have ovulated, but opk's will help you to pinpoint your fertile window before it happens! I start using them about 3-4 days before I expect to O, but it depends on how regular your cycle is - some ladies start testing the moment AF goes away.

Just make sure to take your temp around the same time & remember that you're looking for overall patterns - individual temps don't mean much on their own.

    Hi all,
I thought I would join back in the conversations I have kind of been avoiding this part of the forum as was getting annoyed from stopping the pill and not getting signs of ovulation for over 3 months! Well now things are looking positive with some ferns on the maybe baby so I'm ready to join in the fun and not feel sorry for myself today I had full ferns so did a urine ovulation test too and looking good so now just to dtd heaps and make it work I feel so much better knowing my body is getting back on track

Fingers crossed we all get a BFP soon
