Default Top layer of wedding cake

Ok so husband and I have split, we didnt cut our top layer of our wedding cake on our first anniversary (forgot) and its still sitting in the freezer. I am going to need the room for pre made meals and want to take it out, what am I to do with it?? Lol is it bad if I eat it with my family one night? Should I share it with him (as in give him half)? Or should I just eat it my self. Dose it matter??
My mum payed for the cake, just incase this comes into play? Don't know if ^^ that is relevant.
Don't know what to do about it??

I'd just eat it. Not with him. Nor would I give him any. I think that'd be weird and awkward. I'd think of it as cake, not wedding cake.

Eat it with your Mum. We used ours for our DD's christening cake almost 3 years after it was made. It was still yummy, so definitely don't just bin it.

Is there hard feelings between you and your exDH? If not, why not just say something like 'I found our cake in the freezer. Im going to need the freezer room, fancy coming over for a coffee and cake with me and the kids?'. I have a great relationship with my ex and this is what I would be doing. If he says no, then Id have coffee with someone else and eat it just like normal cake.

If there IS hard feelings between the two of you, then just eat it with someone else.

Default Top layer of wedding cake

Just cut mine yesterday (late!) I cut ours into slices and gave some to SIL, MIL, and some for us. Will give some to mum tomorrow. It's really yum so don't throw it! I think inviting your mum over for a cuppa is a nice idea, then just share it around the family
