    I'm going private too
I haven't figured out which ob to go with yet so will have to do some quick homework. I've heard you practically have to book into the private hospital here the moment you conceive!
waitinghoping it sounds like the spotting hasn't worried your fs. Hope the time flies to your scan so you can breathe easy.
Nila good luck for your us on Monday.
FelH hope your ob grows on you. I don't think there are any female obs in my area but I think I would have liked to see a female if I had the choice, must be an old Catholic hang-up

Lil Smurfy - which hospy are you going to? Hope you are feeling better

Welcome and congrats on your bfp Calico!

Nila - hope your toe gets better asap

FTM - yay having a c-section date, how exciting!!!

Arrgh so stressful! Had more spotting again this morning. Decided to ignore it and go about my day as usual but by late morning I was getting some cramping so decided it best to get it checked out. Went to FS and had more bloods done. Levels now at 29,980 so bubs is settling in nicely! They have decided to move the scan forward by 1 week just to check that everything is ok, so scan is now next Wednesday (28th). Just want to see that heartbeat then I can relax a bit more!!
How far along will you be at the scan?

I'm going public and doing shared care. Found a new female gp who we are both impressed with. Sent off my booking form today to the hospital.

I'm going private as well, staying with the same Dr I had for my O issues. I am counting down for Friday and my next appointment

Approximately how many weeks would u think it would improve?
Also is it in relation to pelvic floor muscles? Is that why I have a prolapse?
They feel really strong so I would t think this, what else causes it?

Not sure if any of you know, do I need to book the ob and hospital separately, or does the ob book the hospital for me?

Your OBGYN will deliver at certain hospitals only, and you can have your pick of those. When you make your first OBGYN appt (which you need to organise now), his/her secretary will ask you where you want to deliver and then send you the booking forms. It does have to be done quite early in the private sector, as they only book in a certain number of women per due date.
