Yep I'm going private.
Yep I'm going private.
Definitely private. I saw my ob today and my c-section is all booked in. I have a definite due date! Yayyyy!
I will be going private as I had for my other 2 and I will need a csection anyways so might as well take advantage of having private health cover!! I hope I can squeeze a test in before christmas but we are all waiting to find out results from Monday's ultrasound!! Please Monday hurry up!!!
I meet my ob on Tuesday I hope she's ok, I don't usually like female doctors but she seems to be the best in the shire! I wish my gyn was also an ob. He is an amazing man!
Im going private too. Im soooooooo petrified of hospitals and anything medical so decided with DD it was best to go private so I could have continuity of care and my own room to save any panic attacks! Decided to go with the same OB and hospital again this time.
Lil Smurfy - which hospy are you going to? Hope you are feeling better
Welcome and congrats on your bfp Calico!
Nila - hope your toe gets better asap
FTM - yay having a c-section date, how exciting!!!
Arrgh so stressful! Had more spotting again this morning. Decided to ignore it and go about my day as usual but by late morning I was getting some cramping so decided it best to get it checked out. Went to FS and had more bloods done. Levels now at 29,980 so bubs is settling in nicely! They have decided to move the scan forward by 1 week just to check that everything is ok, so scan is now next Wednesday (28th). Just want to see that heartbeat then I can relax a bit more!!
Waitinghoping, I'm going to Ashford
Ashford is a beautiful hospital I know lots of ppl that have had great experiences
By convention, your pregnancy is dated from the 1st day of your last menstrual period. But, as you rightly point out, ovulation timing varies between women considerably. Therefore, once you have had your first scan your OBGYN will adjust your gestation based on the ultrasound. An ultrasound done in the first trimester is very accurate in determining gestation and EDD.
It's really not that complicated! The due date calculator on Bub Hub takes cycle length into account, you just enter your average cycle length and it does the maths.
