You just freaked out for nothing you poor thing. Robitussin is fine to take. This was taken from a medical website:

    Condition
Safe Medications to Take During Pregnancy*
    Allergy Antihistamines including:
    Chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton, Efidac, Teldrin)
    Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
Loratadine (Alavert, Claritin, Loradamed, Tavist ND Allergy)
Cold and Flu Halls*, Robitussin, Romilar, Trind-DM, Vicks Cough Syrup
    Saline nasal drops or spray
    Actifed, Dristan, Neosynephrine*, Sudafed
    Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Tylenol Cold
    Warm salt/water gargle

Hey...gentle! Most Pharmacists will look up the Pregnancy Category for you, before advising for or against it. I did a Bachelor of Pharmacy before I did Medicine, and I owe my knowledge of pharmacology to my B.Pharm. Degree. Unfortunately, there have been an influx of ESL-Pharmacists, and this worries me alot. Not happy with your Pharmacist?...move on and find one you can trust. Pharmacists DO KNOW ALOT about drugs, as a general rule.

As a doctor, a caring and humane doctor, I am feeling very unloved tonight.

Ftm I think its just a matter of finding the right one, I've lived where I am now for nearly 3 years and only just found a gp I like.
J I am sure you are a wonderful doctor I can see that from how caring and compassionate youve been in here, supply everyone with lots of information and answering questions for us!

J, I'm sure you are a great doctor. I'm lucky to have a fantastic gp, but unfortunately she now works in a super clinic, along with a bunch of doctors that just want to get you in and out in a minute

Oh I apologize if you took offense but I wasn't referring to you ... Sorry J.
I just have a gripe with quite a few doctors but never did I mean you. I had to diagnose my own auto immune disease after years of suffering so I've learned to rely on my knowledge and pen instincts rather than relying on what a GP or pharmacist says.

Again, it was never aimed at you so I'm sorry you took it the wrong way.
