Lower abdominal cramping in pregnancy is really common, and can be due to several different factors (corpus-luteum, development of placenta, hormonal, etc). Most cases, nothing to stress about.

Hi everyone, I got my BFP yesterday, we are overjoyed & thrilled! I found everyone in this TTC section so supportive that I'm no where near ready to move away! So this thread is perfect for me right now

Can I just ask, how soon should I be having a blood test to confirm? My GP only works part time & I can't get in to see her until the 20th! Should I just see another doctor to get the blood test referral, or is it okay to wait that long?

    Congrats Blonde Assassin!

I was worried about bloods aswell so we have cut our honeymoon short in order to get to the doctor. I just want it confirmed and to know if I need to take any supplements.

Congrats Blonde Assassin, some doctors don't even bother with a BT but if you want one for reassurance and don't want to wait just go to anyone.

AFM busy day today as we were at the market with our stall, market goes from 8 - 1 but with set up and pack up makes for a long day. Then went out for a leisurely lunch followed by visiting some friends. DP wanted to tell them about bub so I have some support in my area when he is away with work. I am exhausted now and not sure how late I will manage to stay awake I am also going from starving hungry at lunch time to not wanting to eat at all at dinner.

Hope everyone else is well and has had a good weekend. I have 4 days of work now before another day off
