Default Graduates of TTC and not wanting to move!!!!

Tonis - hugs to you. I have been irrational with dh of late getting frustrated at silly things and crying over nothing. But I know it's hormones we both laugh about it as sometimes I say I am angry and I know it's irrational as soon as I recognize that's what's going on. I feel like I am 14 again and all hormonal, irrational and don't know how to regulate my emotions. I also am teAry at sad stories etc but I can control it when at work luckily :-) Having said as j said antenatal depression is really common so if you feel something more is going on or 'wrong' it's worth chatting to your gp or ob. Whatever's happening just keep talking, it almost always helps :-)

Nila - good luck today I have everything crossed for u!
Is ur dh going with u?

J - what your husband said made me lol!
Talking about cup sizes I have gone up 2 cup sizes and my back is struggling with the extra weight! Mat bras I hv found just don't seem to cut it. Does anyone suggest any good brands? I read somewhere no underwire for milk ducts but I am now an f and my upper back is killing by the end of most days. I can only put it down to the increase in size as between week 13 and 14 they went up two sizes. I am thinking about going back to underwire for now as the ones I have just don't seem to support me enough.

Hope u all have a good day!

    😄

Have you thought about reading something like "What to expect when you're expecting"? My sister read it and said it helped her relax a bit. She's not medical, so had no idea what to
expect. And if you have no close friends nearby, it's even harder, as you have no-one to ask.

Pregnancy is a massive change within your body, and you will experience all sorts of odd things, which are quite normal.

Husbands tend not to get "excited" until they can see a big belly, or feel bubs, which is still a way off yet. And even then, it's just not as real for them as for us, as they cannot feel what we feel. It's not their fault, but you can't help getting annoyed/frustrated/disappointed.

    J x.
I shall keep an eye out for the book. I was in tears again at 2.30am and had a talk to DP about how I was feeling and feel much better this morning Its really the first day I have been sad though I am emotional most days lol.

Tonis that was my first give away with ds - one minute I would snap at someone for something silly then is be crying 2 mins later. I also got really worried cos I fell "out of love" with hubby for the first 3 months - also completely normal. Another good book is up the duff by kaz Cooke puts a funny twist on things.

Well our pregnancy is no longer secret! We had a big do lastnight and hubby told his aunty which was fine then she asked if she could announce it we both said no at the same time, anyway had some family photos done then at the end of it she turns around and announces it to the family which was okish only a small extended family but what was worse was one of hubbys workmates wives over heard (her of all people who has the biggest mouth!) And she goes on to tell the rest of hubbys workmates (i had left by then) Fx for a sticky bub. Other than that I'm well, have nausea on and off all day and night.

Hope u are all well and had a good week end - good luck tomorrow nila!

Yup I have that book, its really good
Sorry that your joyous news was shared in such a horrible way. I hope you have a sticky bub but besides that its your good news to share when and with who you want and that was taken away from you.

Default Graduates of TTC and not wanting to move!!!!

This time dh is not going as he is doing his 3rd 6 day week in a row, I hate the hospitality industry!!!
My nipples haven't changed colors but I don't think they have with my other pregnancies either, they on the other hand feel fuller and the nipples are a bit sore. My lovely insomnia is kicking in, I have been up since 3 am and haven't been able to go back to sleep its so frustrating but today is a good day for a nap as my kids are both at Childcare today.
I also often go off at my dh for silly things and he blames it on stress which ****es me off even more cause its not. I have been very emotional and I think it's just a part of pregnancy and a part of parenting!

Oh TonyS I hope you are feeling a bit better today.

    Good luck for today Nila!

J I haven't noticed any change to my nipples yet or that area at all really but I didn't go up a size until after my DD was born last time and my milk came in so not too concerned. I have noticed the tiniest bit of milk which is weird but I am putting that down to having only finished BF my DD a few months before I fell pregnant.

AFM - Now almost 11 weeks pregnant Still sick but hoping that goes soon. My NT scan is next Monday. I still haven't told anyone about this pregnancy and still hoping we can announce it on Christmas Day (when I will be 13 weeks). The only problem with that plan is that I appear to already have a bit of a bump. Please tell me I am not the only one? I have lost 3 kg's this pregnancy so it can't really just be fat. Going to have to hope it doesn't grow too much more and that I manage to disguise it well until Christmas. I asked my DH if it was noticeable and he said if you knew I was pregnant you would be able to tell but otherwise it isn't so let's hope he is right.

Omg mee too! This is my 2nd pregnancy and im only 6 weeks but have a bump already my jeans are tight now too where as I got away with wearing them in my first pregnancy.

J can I ask u a medical question pretty please? what else do they do at the 12 week scan? Apart from peace of mind, is it 'risky' not to have it? I am drumming up the confidence to ring the surgery and say no can he please write me a referral as we want to scan for downs now.....

Hi ladies just a quick stop in as I'm at the airport as we speak!!
Nila good luck today can't wait for the results!

I hve a question for anyone really, once u feel the baby move how often should u feel them? At 17 + 4 I feel them everyday but not often I know it's only early stages but just concerned, if I'm busy for the day I might not feel them at all?

Maybe go to Myer or bras'n'things (Myer or David Jones probably better) where they still have those lovely old ladies who measure and adjust you, and actually have the experience to help. Plus they carry a far larger selection of maternity bras too.
Target and Cotton On Body etc tend to cater for the pre-teens with no boobs anyway!

It's risky in the sense that if you don't have it, you will have no idea whether your child has Down's syndrome. It also checks for spina bifida. It is absolutely standard practice in Australia, so just be matter-of-fact. Even young couples can have babies with Down's.
