That tends to happen in the late first trimester; theoretically due to a surge as the baby starts producing sex hormones (oestrogen or testosterone). Usually doesn't last long.
I had it with Oscar, and again recently.

Piping up with the skin problem although thankfully now it's cleared for the most part. But weeks 9-12 I was a pimply teenager!

On the working after bubs, I'm resigning from my position. DH and I want me to stay home for at least a year with bubs and then I may possibly return to work part time or I'm hoping my home business idea takes off so we'll see how that goes. We are very fortunate that I don't need to work but my income does provide us with the grand extras like holidays, home renovations etc etc. DH's income is solely for bills and living expenses and mine is for the extras in life which is great. We shall see what happens

I'm lucky enough that I didn't have to return to work after ds - it was hard for the first couple of months but all
Good now, my theory is we will blink and the kids will be at school so ill go back and work school hours. I'm a hairdresser by trade so have a very flexible (under paid) job

Quick tmi question. Are u avoiding sex for the first 12 weeks? I bled early with ds and then sex put me into early labor at 34 weeks and also made me bleed again at 22 weeks so was thinking it would be safe to avoid it? The problem is with ds I had no libido - this time around seems different lol I have my first docs appt next Thursday so will talk to him but just wondering.........

I personally have but like you with my 1st two I had no libido but this one it seems to be coming and going in waves like everything...but I am afraid that since I'm spotting it will make things worst and even when I exercise I get bleeding so I think I will avoid as much as I can which seems to be ok with dh he's working like crazy as its the holiday season and he's a chef so very busy
