Had my 12-week scan this morning, and all good! Low-risk for Down's and NTDs, anatomically normal thus far, and moving around like Kungfu Panda!! Radiologist got a good view of genitals, and said 75% chance of being a girl. Obviously will have to wait until 20-week scan for confirmation. Freaked me a little...I know little boys, but a girl?!
We have a very short common Australian surname, so most names sound OK with it. We like Lucy for a girl, and Hamish for a boy. We tend to use a family name as a middle name, such as Lucy Margaret, out of respect for my hubby's Mum. My own Mum's name is Wilma, and I would never do that to a child!!
Channy...when do you get bhCG level? (PS. I laughed out loud when I read Ella Vella...if I could tell you my surname, we have some equally ridiculous names come up!!).
