Default Re: TTC and not wanting to move #5

Yes i also feel so lucky but also baffled that i got utd with DS straight away. Since having him my cycle switched off and now i feel like I'll never be pregnant again!

I poas today 11dpo with an IC and got the feintest line ever. Hardly surprising when yesterday my hcg was only 3.2 lol. Read online that anything less than 5 doesn't qualify you as utd so thinking it's not my month.

Default TTC and not wanting to move #5

It's funny because I stayed on the pill right up to the minute we really ready - thinking it would happen immediately - my mum put in my head to just be careful as you will just fall now DH and I just wish I had come off it 6 months earlier.
We had it all lined up perfectly as my contract at my job ends in March and was hoping I would then be due a month later. While my boss tells me they will extend it, I know they can't because we just went through a massive restructure and 1 main aim was to end contracts :/
I'm sure it'll happen for all of us and like my husband said, if in 5 years it doesn't happen, we will look at adoption

J, I read in the other thread that you've been to ED. Great HCG level, sorry you feel so sick though

Thanks...not going to complain, as I am lucky to be pregnant!! The vomiting to the point of dehydration is not great fun, however. Small price to pay. I hate being a patient (doctors are the worst patients!), but when my urine output dropped off to virtually nothing, I bit the bullet and went in for some IV fluids. Still feel average, but better. Was more concerned with hydration of bub.

As for TTC, I always find it ridiculous that I came off the pill in late July 2009, had a withdrawal bleed, then went to visit my husband in Canberra...had sex ONCE...and didn't realise I was pregnant until I was 9 weeks (been spewing for 2.5 weeks prior to that!). So, we naturally assumed we were a fertile couple.
But the universe had other plans...it seems the more I charted and tried to "control" things like sex, the more apparent it became it just wasn't that scientific. As a scientifically-inclined person, it made no sense...you ovulate, sperm is present...voila! Not so, there are implantation issues, DNA mistakes, etc...amazing it ever happens! For a healthy couple all going well, you have a 20-25% chance of conceiving. But these odds are cumulative...chances are in 4-5 cycles you will be pregnant. My OBGYN always said...you want a baby?...have lots of sex. Don't obsess about the timing...just do it!! Not that I really listened!!
You are all young, and you turn may be closer than you think!
    Bond...did you do a FRER?

After deciding I want going to chart this month, I've changed my mind. Is it going to matter that I didn't take my temp for first 3 days? Will FF still detect ovulation if I haven't recorded every day?

I feel really sorry for you being so sick J. But like you say- at least you are pregnant!

I didn't have any FRER at home only IC which I did this morning and got the feintest of feint lines. Like having to squint to see it. Not surprising given the levels yesterday. Hubby doesn't want me to spend any more money on HPTs!!! So think I will just wait for the BT tomorrow at 12dpo and see. Not very hopeful and think maybe my body is just taking longer to get the ovidrel trigger out of my system. Waiting waiting waiting.....I hate it!

If you have only missed a few initially, it should be fine.
