J- please can I ask what your medical view is about my blood test results from today please? Posted them earlier but the levels were HCG 3.2 and Progesterone 54 at 10dpo. HCG too low to turn into anything do you think? Thanks. I am still stressing out and got these aches/twinges all the time which are not the norm!
Not necessarily. Do you have a FRER? Do one tmrw and you may get a feint line. Repeat over several mornings. Your progesterone is good.

Toni how did I miss you being late! When will you test? I felt sick with nerves too.

Bond - fingers crossed your hcg doubles. Sorry I don't know much about levels to offer any advice.

Tormy - that's great that you o without trigger. Maybe the holiday was just what you needed!

Rainbow - how exciting. Good luck with choosing your donor.

J - sorry you are so sick and stressing so much about your scan. I hope the time goes quickly. Positive thinking!

Afm I made an apt to see dr for shared care in 3 weeks which will make me approx 8wks. Couldn't get in with the public obs as she will be away at time I'm due. Oh well. Nurse said I wouldn't have scan until 12wks, but I was hoping to have a scan before then... I thought a lot of people had 8-10 week dating scans... The suspense will kill me!!!!!
Will test next Thursday, if positive at home will call Gyno to get it confirmed. I've lots of distraction while on holidays so should make it.

So far so good for all of them- obviously med history is priority over everything else.
That can make the choice harder but I'm sure you will make a great choice.

Thank you for taking the time to respond- I really appreciate it. I don't have any FRER left as used them up with my chem last month and DH said don't spend money on anymore as having BT anyway every 2 days. I do have some IC but guess they won't be sensitive enough?
Just worried it might be the leftovers from the trigger and not my own HCG but the trigger was 12 days ago.

Hmm, I'd be willing to pay for it, but I'd still need a referral wouldn't I? I'll see how things go between now and my apt.

Not necessarily, not sure how it works here but back in UK i had two additional private scans at a clinic which i just called to book myself. One at 10 wks for reassurance and a 3d one at 28wks. This is on top of the two public system ones that i got for free. Look into it if your GP refuses.

    Night girls!

The 'how long have you been trying' thread freaked me out a bit. All these women who have been trying years and years for their first and are still trying. I can't help wondering if I'll still be on the list in years to come. I just wish I knew if I could actually fall pregnant naturally.

I guess it seems like a long journey for most, cos those who had a short journey aren't in the ttc threads anymore.

I haven't been trying for long but it does surprise me how many ppl take quite a while, I have learnt so much in the last few months I just assumed it happened straight away unless u had health probs how naive I was

I just assumed if you dtd at the right time, it would happen. Then I read for perfectly healthy couples with no issues, there is only a 20% to 25% chance each month that they'll conceive. Yep I'm learning a lot too.

    Channy & Lil Smurfy:
I 2thought if you dtd when you O that was it instant baby. I am lucky to already have a dd (while on pill) and DS (1st try). Ttc #3 ( 16 months)is so depressing as we now have an appt November to see ivf specialist so I have learnt so much & have realised how extreamly lucky I am already. We don't know why it isn't working (isn't it ment to be 3rd time lucky) coz all test have come back perfect for both of us?????????
My only advise girls is keep copies of all your charts, get the 21day blood test done every month to make sure you O every month and get ur DH/dp swimmers tested all of that ur gp can do so if u do end up needing help you can give them lots and lots of info and they can start straight away.
