You can, but it has to be done 7 dpo. So if you don't know if you're ovulating it would be hard to know when to do it. Have you had periods since your m/c? When I was annovulatory for months after coming off BC I had various tests through my GP before going to a FS for hormone levels inc. oestrogen, LH, FSH and progesterone. I think the general figures can give them some idea if your cycle is active. My oestrogen was really low showing nothing was going on. Might be worth going to ask.

Tormy- sorry that AF arrived hun.

AFM- cd 10 and had an u/s this morning to check for follies. Got one about 9-10mm on the left so still got some way to go, but hoping I will O by the end of next week which will be the earliest yet so far on clomid! Just waiting to get my hormone level results at 2pm.

Tormy- LOL, no she's not much better but was able to do it a bit more independently this time. But she's still got a long way to go! I get so annoyed though as it takes ages longer than necessary. And I've just been told I have to have another u/s on Monday, so the fun continues! At least they had a slot just before my appointment with FS at 11am so I don't have to make two trips.

Hoping November is my lucky month seeing as it's my 30th birthday and all!

Yes Channy I agree that OPKs are frustrating, and I don't think they are reliable. I had false positives with them, which I know were false as my blood tests that month showed I hadn't O'd. So I then gave up using them.

I would maybe ask for a BT around day 21-25 and the progesterone level will show if you did, as long as its taken long enough after O (around 7 days).

Tormy- the U/S took 15 mins today so not as long as before, and not so painful. I also had really bad pain last time afterwards too! I know they have to train people, but it's really not nice!
