Default TTC and not wanting to move #5

Vent: just went to see the doctor to make sure my hcg is gone as I have been feeling incredibly nauseous. Couldn't get in to my normal doctor and the one I had was awful! She said to me: "we'll u weren't really pregnant were you considering you didn't miss you period", I asked her why I had doubling hcg the wk after AF if I I wasn't pregnant and she said "oh that can just happen sometimes" wtf?! Had bloods done to check iv got no hcg left plus check for thyroid issues and other things but not a nice bedside manner from that doctor at all and then she told me "just relax and stop thinking about it", no worries doc >

Fx you get a BFP this month AFM - Well, I fell apart yesterday, I think everything finally caught up. Spent the morning in bed bawling my eyes out. I think it was cos it was the first day when I didnt have 101 things happening so I finally was able to process it all. Just makes me so angry that after so long ttc, a m/c, 2 rounds of IUI that even though I "did" everything right, still another m/c and no take-home baby. Just going out and seeing babies and/or prams is enough to bring tears, and Im not normally a crier. I didnt feel this way at all with the m/c last year. I really thought this time was the ''one'' - felt pg, all levels were perfect.... shows how fickle it really is. Im going to be SO paranoid next time. Anyway, enough about me, hope you are all doing well xx
You poor darling! I was the same after my 1st MC...could barely leave the house for weeks, because everytime I saw a pregnant woman or a baby in a pram, I would cry...in public. It got embarassing. But you need to grieve, cry, be sad. It eventually got easier, but took many tears. When you get pregnant again (and you will), you will certainly be paranoid. When I got pregnant for the 4th time (my son, then 2 x MCs, now pregnant again), I kept referring to it as my "3rd miscarriage to come". Which is awful, but I was convinced it too would fail. I am now nearly 14 weeks, and the paranoia is still simmering along.
Something I did to help me was write a letter to my "angel baby", and put it in a box with a newborn dummy and my blood test results. I still cannot open it, but it helped with the grieving process. With my 2nd MC I was upset, but I think more philisophical...I kept saying "That was not my baby...my baby is still coming".
    Lots of hugs, J xx.

Good Lord, I apologise for my profession! Apart from being insensitive, she is wrong. You only produce bhCG when you are pregnant (or a post-menopausal woman with a particular type of cancer).
Where in Adelaide do you live? I worked at Flinders Hospital for 5 years, so I may be able to direct you to a good GP or clinic.

Plodding along have been taking vitex (have missed some mornings), doing the OPK's and just DTD every few days - hopefully it works think I am day 18 today - I have no idea when I will O. What I have noticed to be the trend in the past few BFP's is that they all had some drinks - so with the festive season here, I am defitinely having a few
I bought 2 books today on Low GI and one specifically about Low GI and PCOS. Even though I don't see the FS until the 2nd, and still not 100% sure if I do have it, I am going to start reading up on it and start the right eating plan for me.
Otherwise I am all good - was a bit sad on Saturday night at our friends Xmas party as they thought I would be announcing my pregnancy - so I realised how much of a communal baby it will be! Haha
Like everyone else - keeping busy with the Xmas shopping and parties!!

What an ***! Did you get her name so when your regular GP is unavailable you can make sure you don't get her again?

Waiting- hugs!! Sometimes what you need is a really good "ugly" cry. And when your BFP does happen, we'll be here to help you through the paranoia!

MissX- hopefully you can announce the communal baby at a NYE party!!
