I have a question for J if she's still around - dh has low sperm count (I can't find the numbers). Doctor said that it was low but the quality of them is good. Is there still a chance we can conceive naturally?? Is there anything we should do when Dtd? Like a certain way or method?? I started looking at fs but its all gotten a bit much and thought we'd still keep ttc naturally for a few more months.

It really depends on how low the sperm count is...even if the quality is good, your chances aren't great if the count is too low. If it is borderline or only slightly reduced, then you will still have a chance of natural conception, so keep trying.
My advice would be to arrange a FS appt anyway; you will probably have to wait a few months before you can get an appt (especially this time of year), and so keep trying in the meantime.
It is suggested than couples with low sperm counts have 2nd or 3rd daily sex, rather than daily, to bolster the numbers. Perhaps be guided by your OPKs; have sex the first day of a +ve, then again 2 days later. But this is the advice a FS is best placed to give.
    J.

    CONGRATS MummaJez on your BFP!

Tormy & Waitinghoping - Good luck next year with your IUI/IVF. I am also having troubles conceiving bubs number 2 - I think it makes me feel even more pressured than with number 1 as each month the age gap gets bigger. We also want 3 and since this one is taking so long I am a bit worried about that as I am not getting any younger.

Pigeonpairplusone - I am crossing everything for you this month. Good luck!

Pinkorblue - so happy for you How are you feeling in these early days?

MissXama - I have also roughly been doing the SMEP but this month we are really going to pull out all stops and have cut booze & crappy food from our diets. Will follow SMEP and also considering using pre-seed as I've heard great things and I also don't get much CM. I don't have a problem with wetness during sex though so not sure if it really matters??

AFM - sorry I've been a bit missing in action over the past week. Just laying low after my chemical last month. In a way I'm kind of glad that last month I got SOMETHING on my HPT's after 10 months of flat out BFNs.... Right now I am CD7 and now looking forward to O day so we can give it another crack
