    Default Tummy Sleeping Question...

DD (8mo) has just started going to sleep on her tummy for the last day and I think this is her new "comfy" which is fine. She can roll both ways and has good upper body control etc.
My dilemma is that she is not a "busy" sleeper at all, she tends to only roll from her back onto her side and back overnight. She doesn't turn, move up or down or kick off her blankets. I'm worried that if I leave her on her belly overnight she will be sore in the morning because she won't roll off it...
Tonight and last night I went in once she was deep asleep and rolled her over because of this worry. She didn't roll back onto her tummy and slept like usual. Should I keep rolling her or let her sleep the night how she likes?

    Default Re: Tummy Sleeping Question...

I would leave her to find her own comfy position. I sleep on my front all night with no problems.

    Default Tummy Sleeping Question...

I had to stop swaddling the girls at 4 months old because they kept rolling over onto their bellies and I worried about the SIDS risk and if they were to get stuck.
Honestly if they are going to roll there really isn't a lot you can do other than check on them.
3 years later my pair still favour sleeping on their bellies no matter how many times I tried rolling them back.

    Default Tummy Sleeping Question...

I would let her sleep how she is comfy I sure if she isn't comfy she will move into a more comfy position. My dd is a busy sleeper she never stays under the blankets and sleeps in all different positions, but as long as she is sleeping i would just leave her.
