It could be earlier, my hubby could feel bubs moving at about 19-20 weeks. I could feel him moving about 16 weeks. The little bugger is a complete acrobat though...he is NEVER quiet :P

Although having said that I did have dramatically decreased movement just the other day at 39 weeks. He went from being mega squirmy baby to almost nothing, even when I prodded him. Hospital told me to come right in, got hooked up to a monitor and checked out. All was well, he had just decided to randomly tone down for a couple of days. As of right now he is back to rearranging my insides :P

Saw my OB today, who said that if you are less then 24 weeks, they don't even try investigate why bubs might not be moving much (even if it is a change from the usual), as they can't do anything to help.

After 24 weeks, they take it more seriously she said.

It was due to me saying that I had one day of strong movements and then nothing...

munchkin it all depends on bubs.... im 23 weeks pregnant and DP can now feel bubs move when ever i grab his hand and place it on my belly were at 21 - 22 weeks i would have to wait for harder kicks and grab his hand then, at which point bubs would stop kicking and he would get upset.... it was cute when he did finally felt her move though.
