Not really light weight (at 11kg) but the versa does all the above, compact one handed 2 step fold, reversable seat, city pram, 22kg seat limit. I would def get it over the bee which seems a little $ in comparison to what the versa offers.

Maclaren for sure. Mine is 6kgs and you can carry it over you shoulder using the shoulder strap. Good reclining positions, good shade, rain cover and good basket. Lasts and lasts and lasts.

    uppababy g-luxe - only 4kg
i got one sent from america via ishop, total cost $350.
it reclines enough to get through newborn stage (although i found i tended to babywear at that age), is superlight, can steer literally with one fingertip.
we travel overseas and live on a bush property and have had a phil & ted's, cheap umbrella stroller and a babylove over a couple of kids.
    g-luxe is perfect for us

Default Rec for lightweight stroller suitable from birth

    woow that is cheap halloweendee!

I need to be able to check the pram in store before buying though.

I can't make my mind on what we need... I have kind of walked away from MacLaren as I think it will be best to buy one that can face parents.

I have a steelcraft profile love it, not too heavy and umbrella folds I would suggest going and handling the prams to see how they feel when folded and see if they may be awkward to carry?

We travelled on planes approximately every 3 months both domestic and international and have always used the Maclaren. I love it as it's so light and easy to fold and my son always slept well in it. I used it for DS1 until he was 3 and he is tall but fit comfortably in it. I will use it for DS2 once he is to big and heavy for a carrier.

Bugaboo Bee is awesome! My little one loves it, great suspension and padding. It's a piece of cake to collapse, and to open, which was my major want. And such a small wheel base, it's so easy to maneuvre (sp??) through tight shopping areas (clothes racks etc). My old pram was too annoyingly big to get around anything.

I tried the Combi's but I found the handles really weren't long enough and I kept kicking the seat/base. Same problem (I think, was a while ago now) with the ultra-light umbrella strollers like the Maclarens - handles not long enough for me. Also no suspension for bubs.
