    From what I can gather off DH he stands pretty much straight up, uses one hand to hold his cheek open and wipes with the other. Whereas when sitting the side of the toilet seat sort of holds that cheek open for you.

    I am a nurse and somtimes we have to 'watch'. I would say I have seen men many times completly stand up straight

    definitely sit!!! OMG, i cannot get my head around standing.

    I thought it was weird enough that DH reaches around his back to wipe...rather than going in between the legs.

    So there is another question....do you reach in from behind, or go between your legs???

    I swore I wouldn't post in here, but anyway. I always thought I stood up but reading the explanation of 'sitting' I'm actually a sitter. Well there you go.

    Definently wipe away. (reach back)

    Reach around the back to wipe, from front to back, otherwise you get nasties in your bits.
