    Personally, I would choose another name....even if it meant leaving it till bubs was a week or so old and getting to know them a little first.

    I would pick another name personally. My sis named her bub almost the exact same name we would have used, imagine "Poppy Grace" and "Pippa Grace", ok those aren't the real names but just so you know how close they were. Very close first names and same middle name. I ended up choosing a different name. We had never discussed baby names and I was shocked when I heard what she named her bub (I was about 5mths pregnant at the time).

    But I don't think it would be wrong to use the same name, if you really want it.

    I find it hard to even remember the names of my cousin's kids, because I don't see them very often, so I don't really care what they name their kids. I'd still name my kid what I wanted if one of my cousins used the name first.

    I'd still use it if I loved it.

    I have the same name as one of my cousins. It's never been an issue.

    I'd still use it as well. I have a friend with an Olivia and have Olive on our list.
