I have 4 children to my exhusband and 2 to my current husband. It's just a part of life for them really. The two younger ones do miss the others when they're gone and so we do the whole count down thing "2 more sleeps". As for the others getting things and doing things that the younger ones don't...it goes both ways, they get to do things and go places when the others are at their dad's...so really they don't miss out. I don't even think it has yet occured to them that when the others go to dreamworld that they're missing out on something, they just sit and happily listen to the adventures the others get to do and are quite happy to just be happy for them.

If there comes a day that they feel that it's 'unfair' or anything then I guess we'll deal with it but the older kids don't tend to be jealous of the younger ones who do things while they're away so I would hope that the younger ones wouldn't get jealous either.

And no we don't have the half brother/sister business going on either....no point.

    Thanks for your input.
Yeah there are defo no halves in our home, yes there is a Mum and a Step-dad, but all siblings are siblings and that is utterly final. We will certainly not be differentiating between any of them.
Im just a worry wort and want them all happy and to know how special and loved each and every one of them are.
